River Farm Orchard is proudly run by Sam and Michelle Trudgen, a local Whakatane family with a passion for organic farming and a commitment to quality. What began as a small endeavour has grown into a true family affair, with Sam, Michelle, and their two children, Indie and Fletcher, working together to bring you the freshest, most delicious produce.

After hours and during the weekends, you’ll find the whole family out in the orchard, tending to the crops and hand-picking each blueberry with care.

What makes our blueberries so good?
Grown locally using only organic practices (no chemicals here!) our blueberries are perfect for sharing, baking, or keeping as a healthy snack on hand. Whether you’re making smoothies, muffins, or enjoying them straight from the punnet, our blueberries bring a taste of Whakatane’s farm-fresh goodness to your table.
Available in two sizes Medium (500g) and Large (800g), each punnet is filled with our locally grown, organic blueberries, carefully picked and packed at the peak of ripeness. Taste the quality and freshness that only comes from local farming!

Contact us via Facebook messenger to place an order. Pick up is available from our Orchard, just a few minutes from Whakatane. Alternatively you can get your hands on some at Michelle's Organics in Boon Street, Whakatane.
